Legendary rock bassist Rudy Sarzo is back for more. Last episode was all about his childhood, growing up in Cuba and coming to America as a young teen. This one is all about the music and Rudy has done a lot of that!
Rudy begins part 2 talking about his early days in music, playing Latin music back in Florida. Rudy describes hearing this new kind of music coming over from the UK, and it wasn’t The British Invasion, this was darker and heavier. It was the beginning of what would be called Heavy Metal, with bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and a man who Rudy would later work with, Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath. Rudy remembers how Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne took him in. After playing with Ozzy, and his good friend, the late Randy Rhoads, Rudy was asked to play on Quiet Riot’s record Metal Health. That record has only sold over 10 million copies worldwide. If you haven’t heard of that record, maybe you remember “Cum On Feel The Noise”, one of the top songs of 1983. In great detail, Rudy recollects what life was like on the road and the demand that a number one record puts on a band.
There are great stories about legendary artists. He’s played with so many of rock’s best. The best line is when Victoria asks Rudy if he took pictures during his 40 years rock. Speaking of Victoria, her rendition of “Cum On Feel The Noise” might be better than the original. Rudy is also very open about his relationship with God and how that has always been the most important thing to him, other than family.
Brain asks Rudy about playing one last time with his old friend Ozzy Osbourne. One show. July 5th in England. “Back To The Beginning”. It’s a star-studded night jam packed with musical icons. For more information, visit www.ozzy.com. All profits going to various charities. We’re definitely going to have Rudy back so we can hear the stories about that amazing upcoming show...And the Mayhem continues! 🤟

He’s been a musician for over 50 years. He’s played with just about everyone in the rock genre, as you’ll hear Brian list his accomplishments. He’s one of the most respected and beloved bassists. His story is amazing. This week we welcome the legendary Rudy Sarzo.
This episode feels like a classic issue of Playboy, minus the pictorials. We’ve got Playmates, Miss January 96 and Miss March 09, we’ve got music, there’s some politics, religion, pop culture and lots of humor. Before we get into Rudy’s incredible journey to the top of the music charts, Brian asks Rudy about his involvement with “Rock’n’Roll Fantasy Camp”. Rudy has been super busy lately, as you’ll hear, but gives a great description of what the camp entails. If you ever want to get a great gift for the music fan in your life, you should check out rockcamp.com.
Rudy grew up in Havana, Cuba in the 1950’s. Remember the name Fidel Castro? Rudy was there at the start of the revolution on January 1st, 1959. Rudy even tells us the depiction of that event, in The Godfather II, was pretty accurate. He watched it from his window. Rudy’s family got out in 1961, and ended up in Florida before moving to New Jersey, which gets a “heeey” from Jenn. Rudy had just turned 13 when President Kennedy was assassinated and gives details about what life was like for the Holidays in 1963. Then, just a few months later, Rudy along with most of America, was struck by the music thunderbolt, The Beatles appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Rudy’s life was forever changed as you’ll hear in Part 2 with our favorite bassist so you’ll just have to tune in. Get ready for some Metal Health...And the Mayhem continues! 🤟

Victoria and Jenn share the hosting duties this week as we welcome two new members to the Rogue Bunnies team, Jason Rindhal and Omar Shands from Coin Theaters.
Recently, Rogue Bunnies launched something called "Bunni Munni". This episode will help you understand everything you need to know about this project. Jason & Omar do a great job of answering Victoria and Jenn's questions about the differences between Web2 and Web3, what are experiential tokens and mim tokens, and how to avoid the scammers in the crypto space. They also give an explanation of the President's token (there's NOTHING political).
The four then discuss some of the exciting projects that are in development for Rogue Bunnies, like Mansion Society and a possible Rogue Bunnies Marketplace. There's plenty of Playboy talk too. Jenn and Victoria ask the guys about their first encounter with the magazine and who are some of their all-time favorites, other than the two hosts, of course. Victoria laments about the collection that she had. Yes, past tense.
There's a lot to learn about this booming sector so give it a listen and start gearing up for the future, because it's coming...And the Mayhem continues!🤟

This show could’ve been a few hours and we still wouldn’t have gotten to all of Jessica Hall’s stories. Never an official Playmate of the Month, Jessica has been featured in Playboy numerous times, most notably as Cyber Girl of the Week in 2005.
Everyone knows Jessica Hall. She’s an actress, reality TV star, host of numerous TV and radio shows, writer, social media influencer and mother of two. Jessica tells Brian and Jenn that her success wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for Playboy and Hugh Hefner. It’s because of Playboy that she met Kendra Wilkinson, her best friend of almost 20 years. Jessica probably won’t admit it but her toughest role would have had to have been playing “Jessica Hall” on 6 seasons of Kendra On Top.
Jessica recalls her first trip to the Playboy Mansion, back when she was 18, and her first encounter with Hef. Jessica has a great story about turning down Hef’s advances and worrying that her time with Playboy would be over. Instead, Hef insisted that Jessica bring her then boyfriend (now husband) to The Mansion. As Jessica says, “Hef loved love”. Jessica and Jenn talk about the great sisterhood that all of the women of Playboy have. Many of Jess’s other friends have come from her time at Playboy. There’s also a great discussion about motherhood and when is the right time to tell your young children about your past. Neither Jenn or Jess have told their kids that they “graced the pages” of Playboy.
Jessica will be back. She’s too much fun not to have as a guest again. Maybe we can chip more into her memory bank because 30 minutes was definitely not enough...And the Mayhem continues! 🤟

Do you want to find out how the three topics in the title go together? They really don’t but you’ll hear about all of them when you listen to Part 2 of our conversation with Mark “Skip” Buccola.
Skip, Jennifer Pershing and Brian Olea  talk very candidly about the importance of mental health and mental health awareness. But before that, Skip talks about his “acting” career. As Skip tells us, “it would be a disservice to actors to call anything that I have done acting”. Skip explains the role of a stand-in actor and talks about a recent job where he got to work on the set of Only Murders In The Building. We know it’s a hit Hulu show but wait until you hear who was in one scene. Of course Skip stayed to watch the filming of it. Jenn also asks Skip if he ever got to visit the Playboy Mansion. Skip compares The Mansion to a famous National Park and it’s dead on.
If you listen to this podcast regularly, you know that we like to have fun but there are certain issues that we have to address. Mental health is one of those issues and we couldn’t think of a better guest to discuss it with. Skip tells us, in great detail, about checking himself into a mental hospital because he had run out of options. By doing so, it saved his life and now he’s trying to help others who suffer from that disorder. His story is so powerful and courageous. We can’t thank him enough for being so open and honest about it. If you or someone you know is suffering, pick up the phone and dial 9-8-8. There are counselors available 24/7 every day. It’s a heavy subject but we need to pay more attention. We’re just thankful that Skip had the wherewithal to ask for help. If it affects you, we hope you do too. ...And the Mayhem continues! 🤟

He's an actor and a producer but we know Mark "Skip" Buccola for managing the legendary Key Club, on the Sunset Strip, which in turn helped Jennifer Pershing don the pages of Playboy, as Miss March 2009.
The Key Club sat on one of the most famous stretches of music clubs in the world, right there on the Sunset Strip. Heard of the Roxy or the Whiskey? Maybe the Viper Room? Well, the Key Club was right in that mix, from the 1960's (when it was Gazzarri's) until 2013. Skip was there from the start and recalls the rise and fall of the legendary joint. You've heard Steel Panther mentioned on more than one occasion and Skip played a part in getting the glam metal band to perform there every Monday Night. As Jenn admits, if it weren't for those Monday night shows, she may never have graced the Playboy gatefold.
Speaking of those Monday night shows, Skip tells the story of when he first saw Jenn and all about the "stage right steps". Another band that played at the Key Club was Petty Cash, a band made-up of all-star musicians. Recently, front man Jason Womack has been battling some very serious health issues. Brian, Jenn and Skip talk about the Go Fund Me that's been set-up. If you'd like to know more or help out: (https://www.gofundme.com/f/go-for-wo-jason-womacks-fight-against-cancer)
Skip will be back for another episode where we get to chat about his acting career and an important issue to Skip, mental health. Family helps family!...And the Mayhem continues! 🤟

Matt Chin started out as a Playboy Mansion Event Server, eventually making his way up to Floor Manager. What does all that mean? Take a listen and find out.
Matt joins the show, along with Dr. Butler Bryant Horowitz and hosts Brian Olea and Jennifer Pershing, Miss March 2009. As you continue to listen, you'll hear how Matt played a big part in Jenn getting that title. But first, what was life like inside the Playboy Mansion Kitchen? Matt remembers all the hard work that went into the HMH Sunday Brunch but what a dream job it was. As Matt says, "it's pretty hard to focus on work when there's a beautiful woman walking by every few seconds".
If you listen regularly, you've heard a lot about Steel Panther on this show. Well, Jenn says she owes her centerfold to manifesting, Steel Panther and Matt Chin. (not necessarily in that order) Matt, Jenn, Brian and Bryant talk about the good old days at the Key Club in Hollywood. For many a Monday night, you would find a lot of Mansion staff taking in the action. You'll hear the story of how Matt "discovered" Jenn, for Playboy. There's also a great story about a New Year's kiss between the two.
What's Matt doing now? He's got a great job but not like the one he had in his 20's. He's forever family and we can't wait to have him back...And the Mayhem continues! 🤟

Happy New Year everyone. We hope everyone had a great Holiday Season!
We couldn't think of a better way to start the new year off than with one of our favorite guests, Dr. Butler Bryant Horowitz. Bryant joins Miss March 2009, Jennifer Pershing and, of course, Brian Olea, for some festive discussions.
If you know anything about Bryant or Jennifer, you know they are avid fans of the Dave Matthews Band. The show begins with some stories from the Madison Square Garden Show that Jenn and Bryant went to back in November. Fear not, it's not all DMB talk. The gang then shifts the topic to recapping the Holidays which pivots to personal opinions about New Year's Resolutions. Does anyone have any? You'll have to tune in to find out.
Brian and Bryant then remember the month where the Playboy Mansion Butler staff switched shifts. It just so happens it was in September of 2001 and Bryant was working the morning shift. One of the reasons we love having Bryant on is his amazing memory. He is a Doctor of Psychology with a study of Behavioral Neuroscience after all. Bryant has two great stories about our favorite Baywatch actress and a morning jaunt in the Playboy limo. We might just have to make Bryant an honorary co-host since his episodes are so good!...And the Mayhem continues! 🤟

It's been a long time in the making but Rogue Bunnies Mayhem and The Bunny Chronicles have finally gotten together for an hour of great Playboy memories!
Happy Thanksgiving week! We couldn't think of a better way to get the Holiday Season started than getting four members of the Playboy Family together to talk about life at The Mansion for the Holidays. The Bunny Chronicles two amazing hosts; Corinna Harney, Playmate of the Year for1992, and Echo Johnson, Miss January '93, finally join Victoria and Brian to talk about the good ole' days. Echo and Brian talk about their conversations that led to Echo starting The Bunny Chronicles. It took quite a bit of coaxing but Echo finally got Corinna on board, and the rest is history.
The four Playboy family members also discuss life at The Mansion during the Holiday Season. What was served, how was it decorated and who was there. Victoria remembers that holidays at The Mansion always came first. She didn't miss one for almost 20 years. Corinna also chares a great story about how she found out she was Playmate of the Year for 1992. There's a great line delivered by Miss April '91, Christina Leardini. Echo has an equally great story about some Happy Days at her first Playboy party. Find out who their favorite Playmate is of all-time too.
There are so many stories and still so many stories to get to so this collaboration will become a regular occurrence. We can't wait to add Jennifer Pershing to this mix. Our Holiday break is coming up but we're always here. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Holiday Season and Happy New Year. We'll be back in 2025. You know the slogan...And the Mayhem continues! 🤟
